An email received on July 12th, 2010 from a coach with the Fords Dirt Diamonds:
"Todd, Just wanted to take a moment to thank you for everything. Once again, we had a blast at your tournament. Everything was perfect, from the fields, to the umpires, to the raffles to the concessions. But more importantly, what you and your staff is all about is amazing. I am so happy and proud that we are able to participate and support the Sunshine Foundation. It was a pleasure meeting Jennifer and her family and it really puts life in perspective. Softball was so far down the list in terms of what was important yesterday. Our girls, coaches and families thank you for everything and all that you do for these girls."

We would like to thank everyone who had a hand in our tournament for 2010. Of course it couldn't take place without mother nature having her say. Our tournament took place on July 11th instead of the 10th due to some heavy rain that moved through the area. Thankfully the sun returned the next day so that we could finally have the tournament after totally surrendering to the rain in 2009. Once again we had a great response from all in attendance. The donations were generous and the spirits were high. Jennifer showed up with her family and instantly stole the show as expected. Jennifers family is extremely grateful for everything that was done for them and they are anxious to go to Florida in September. This will be their first out of state vacation in 10 years!
